ANHYDROUS CALCIUM NITRATE, CHLORIDE-FREE

CALCIUM NITRATE is an excellent source of calcium (26.6% CaO) and nitrate nitrogen (15.5% Total Nitrogen). It is widely used for winter-season vegetable crops and is particularly suitable for foliar application on crops such as celery, tomato, watermelon, and many others.

CALCIUM NITRATE effectively helps prevent and correct physiological disorders associated with calcium deficiency, including bitter pit in apples, tip burn, blossom-end rot, fruit cracking, and reduced post-harvest storage life, thereby improving fruit quality and extending shelf life.

Because calcium is a relatively large and poorly mobile element within plants, once deposited in plant tissues it has limited redistribution. Consequently, calcium deficiency symptoms commonly develop in rapidly growing tissues, particularly fruits. Thanks to its extremely low chloride (0.04%) and very low sodium (0.15%) contents, Emami Corp CALCIUM NITRATE supplies calcium efficiently without causing leaf scorch or fruit yellowing, especially during the fruit cell expansion stage, when calcium demand is at its highest.
