Rozhe ensures the development of large, symmetrical, and healthy fruit. Its calcium–boron formulation, delivered through LEINR technology, keeps these nutrients continuously available to the roots for at least 15 days. During periods of peak plant demand, enhanced mass flow and root uptake enable the plant to efficiently absorb these nutrients.
PREVENTING CALCIUM DEFICIENCY AND ESTABLISHING AN OPTIMAL CALCIUM-TO-BORON RATIO
Calcium is one of the nutrients that moves through the soil and is absorbed by plants primarily via mass flow. In other words, calcium availability and uptake are closely associated with the plant’s evapotranspiration (ET) rate and therefore depend largely on water movement through the plant.
Excessive irrigation, drought stress, high EC, low light intensity, strong winds, and high phosphorus levels are among the major factors affecting calcium uptake.
In orchards, greenhouses, and field crops, one of the main challenges is the mismatch between calcium uptake and the crop’s phenological stages. For example, if excessive irrigation is applied during the period of peak calcium demand, calcium deficiency may still occur.
Plant nutrition principles therefore emphasize that nutrients must be continuously available to the plant.
This is where the LEINR release mechanism can play an important role. In ROZHE, calcium and boron are incorporated using the LEINR technology, allowing the nutrient to be continuously and gradually released over a minimum period of 15 days, keeping it available to the plant roots.
Therefore, during periods of peak plant demand, increased transpiration generates mass flow from the soil solution toward the roots, facilitating calcium uptake precisely when the plant requires it most—during critical stages of growth and development.
